    Ok, I've read everything here and whenever I try to convert an MPEG2 or VCD NTSC in MPEG1 format to an encoded AVI or DIVX my sound lags.

    I've tried all the guides here but still I get lag or the file freezes.

    How can I correct this? Its annoying, and I need a way to turn those huge files into smaller files.

    Can someone help?!

    Try saving out the audio separately, Oh I forgot your already read that
