why can't i convert to a svcd? I NEED HELP!!!!!!!!

hey,

I'm not a computer whiz, so i can't really supply you with the info you might need to help me, but i can tell a few stuff.

I can convert to a vcd, but i can't convert to a svcd. I'm using the TMPGEnc Program to convert my files. It Keeps on telling me that it " can't open file or unsupported". That is the exact error message i keep getting. I have no idea what that means. but i really need help. I would really appreciate any help you can give me. Thanks.

Do you mean you can't Burn or you can't Convert to a SVCD-mpeg2 file?

Burning:
Burnsoftware differs. WinOnCD3.7 doen't support it, 3.8 does, but my results sucked.
Nero 5.5+ did my VCD's very nicely, but i haven't tried any SVCD yet.

Converting:

TMPGenc has an option to load settings for various output-format's. Depending on what you want't and if PAL or NTSC.
Maybe try demuxing using the Tool option.

i mean that i can't convert t a svcd, i already tried changing the settings. Didn't work. But Thanks for ur help anyways. If u have any more advice, i would love to hear it.

can you give more information like the program you are using and the specific error message as it is a bit too vague..
