Does your DVD player support VCD? Not all do. I have a Toshiba that does not and a Pioneer that does.

You can try Virtual Dub to save the .wav, then convert using TMPGEnc and its VCD templates, using the original video as video input and the .wav as audio input. Then burn using VCDEasy.
But do not get your hopes too high. You and I have the same DVD Player, and I have yet to get it to play my own VCDs. Some of our fellow 315U owners have had some luck though, just read DVD Players database at left and see what you can come up with. Let me know how you fared.Hello. -
First load your video in it and check thme for "junk" frames. Select Video-->Scan video for errors. If no errors are reported, go on to next step.
Select File-->Save wav.... Name your wave file.
Convert both files to your VCD template with TMPGEnc. Burn with your favorite converter.Hello. -
Ok I figured it out!
I used panasonic mpeg encoder and then burned it with vcdeasycd. But it is really crappy and the sound is off of the motion any way to fix this?
thanks,

Can you tell me what your settings were? I downloaded the MPEG1 Encoder and burned it with VCDEasy as well, and got another coaster. I must have a hostile DVD playerHello. -
I DON'T REALLY KNOW WHAT I AM DOING. SO I'M PROBABLY NOT THE BEST GUY TO ASK. WHEN YOU ENCODE IT AND BURN IT, IT ALL WORKS? DO YOU GET ANY WARNINGS?

It encodes with no problems. Just says "No Disc" in the DVD when I put it in.
