    is there a way to unlock the dvd without using a player.

    i've tried several players with no success including: powerdvd (got error code 89030000), windvd, sasami2k, and videolan.

    im using smart ripper and it always asks me to unlock the blocks which i can't do with the player since for some reason they dont work...is there some software that would unlock it..can you unlock it manually somehow..

    Use DVD Decrypter.


    It will work on anything.

    Your DVD drive is region-locked (RPC2). Go to the following page and find out if there s any firmware patch (RPC 1) to make it region-free. The procedure is similar to flashing a bios.
