I have read the various posts. I have tied using Pinnacle Express and Studio to burn slide shows using VCD and SVCD. VCD looks bad. SVCD better but still nowhere near as good as the orig photos (3 megapixel camera). I then tied Pinnacle Studio to create an AVI of the JPEGS (nice transition features, etc.)..then burned SVCD. Looks good but still not great. Putting the AVI directly to a CD looks great for a computer playback.
Is there some software that will preserve the oroginal reolution but create a cool-featured (music, transitions) slide show on a CD for playing in a DVD player?

There's a new software out . Haven't tried it yet but here in Germany it comes highly reccomended. You even get a tutorial on the website, which looks pretty easy. It also has more "effects" than the Ulead DVD picture show. Anyway here is the link.........good luck
