We all know how knit-picky Impression is and how everything has to be perfect to create a DVD-R that will play in the majority of stand alone DVD players as well as the PS2 and XBOX.
That said, for those of you out there who have burned DVD-Rs successfully, what steps did you take. Let's try to go into as much detail as possible here, including:
What version of Impression?
What software was used to create the video file and what encoder was used?
Were hilite or true color menus used?
PCM, MPA, or AC3 audio?
Which burning software was used to burn the actual impression DVD disk image?
What DVD-R media?
What DVD-R burner?
What files were used from the disk image that impression created to burn the DVD-R?
I'm probably leaving out other steps involved in the DVD-R creation process. If you feel like there are other steps that I exluded, include those as well.
I think anyone who can answer these questions will contribute greatly to the many of us frustrated impression users who find problems at every single turn.
