    I followed all of the instructions found here and successfully converted avi to vcd and burned with Nero. When I put the disc into my DVD player, I can see the "burned with Nero" message but the disc wont play. Any suggestions?

    Does your DVD player play CDR/VCD's ? or just VCD's ?

    it plays both types...i figured out the problem...burned it with the wrong settting in Nero. now I have a different problem...sound is garbled!
