is there a way to copy a DVD movie into a VHS cassette ?

Hi,
Yes there are several ways to do this. The easiest would be to play the DVD on a Macrovision (Copyprotection) free Stand Alone Player and record it on your VCR.
Another way would be to play it on your PC with a TV-Out card that has no/disabled Macrovision, and again record it on your VCR.
If both of the above are not an option, you can alway rip the DVD to your HD using smartripper. Make sure you select the option "Remove Macrovision". And the play it on your TV-Out using a VOB/DVD player. (PowerDVD works fine).
Last but not least if all of the above fail, you can also rip/convert the movie to (S)VCD an play that, while recording on your VCR using a (S)VCD player.
