I have SVCD that plays fine on my pc dvd, but when I try it on a standalone, it pauses in the same spots, and eventually freezes in a little loop.I borrowed it from a friend, and I know he burns all his stuff with fireburner so I copied the mpeg file out, and burned it with Nero, and it pauses in the exact same spots. I find it strange that on two cd's, it's the same spots with problems.I read from the forums about bitrates, but I am new to all this stuff.I tried to load the mpeg file from the SVCD into TMPCenc and Panasonic, but both gave me an error that they couldn't load it.Anyone have any ideas what I can try? Oh, and my standalone is a Philips 751.I just figure I should be able to do something since it plays fine on my pc.
