    I own 2 ibm deskstar drives, both are in my 160gb raid array, they are awsome drives and I swear by them. While its true they had a bad run a few years back (and man did they catch some flack over it) the problems on the current ones are more then fixed... one last thing. If it has a little hole on the top of it that does "do not block" DO NOT BLOCK IT! :P

    BTW almost every laptop manufactuer worth 2cents uses IBM deskstar drives... thats says something if ya ask me...

    Yes, very good. Have 2 in this machine 2 in another, all work very well. Download the many utility IBM have to tweak them for best performance (Advance users only)

    Take a look on IBM site for the different types 65X / 75X
