  1. I am having a small issue backing up my copy of Training Day. I get a problem with performing the Inverse Telecine. I am using TMPGEnc to perform this operation but am having little success. I have tried the automatic but that did not work. I tried the manual but that too doesn't seem to be working. I have tried variations of 01001 but have had very little luck. By variations I mean the usual 0010001, 0001001, up to an obscene number but have had no luck.
Could someone please suggest a solution? I don't really know where to take it from here. My first step is this board and your expertise.
Another question is how the check button works exactly? I have tried it and sometimes it reports a success but still there is Telcine issues.

    Thanks all....

  5. Sorry for the delay. My CPU was fried by a lightning storm and I have been out of commision. But I'm back now.

I just finished running Inverse Telecine on Training Day using TMPGEnc 2.7. It worked for me. Is it generating errors for you? Or does the final re-encode not look right?

i just ripped Training Day Pal at 9x with smartripper, works fine and encoded it with CCE and Tmpeg, in case you ask why, 2 DVD players two different encodes, both perfect.
