  1. I have these m2v files that I would like burned so I can watch it onto a dvd player. These videos are I believe to be PAL
(768 X 576). I have a NTSC dvd Player so please tell me step by step what I need to do in order to burn a cd.

  2. Hey,

Well, if your player doesnt play PAL formated discs, you are going to have to convert it... The cheapest and perhaps the best way to do that would be with TMPGENC, you can download it at http://www.tmpgenc.com

Just add your file in TMPGENC and load a NTSC template, and convert... If the video is long, expect it to take a very long time to encode, depending on the speed of your pc... But even if you have the P4 1.8ghz its still going to take you awhile to convert a 2 hour movie...

Then to burn it I suggest using NERO... You can get a free demo, that is just like the regular version, except you have to burn at 1x... NERO is any easy to use interface, i dont think you will have any problems with it...

Also, check out the guides to the right for more detailed instructions on how to convert and burn a VCD XVCD SVCD XSVCD miniDVD or even a DVD-R

    I hope this helps!

You have it in MPEG format right.

It won't take as long as encoding a AVI file.

Why do you have to burn at 1x. My demo of Nero burns at 4x unless I use Imation CD-R then it drops down to 2x.
