Hi there,

I am using Win98 SE, Premiere 6.01 and TMPGEnc 2.5x Trial. When I write DV AVIs to harddisk (<4GB), VCDs and SVCDs encode perfectly.

But, when I use Premiere Plugin Frameserver 0.93 from www.videotools.net I very often get such errors at the last 1 - 6 secs of my film:
"Write error occurred at address 004028A9 of module 'TMPGENC.EXE' with 00902F54" and the encoding of the last seconfs stop.

The errors appear in different films at different points (somewhere between 6-1 secs before the very end) but appear always at the same point when encoding the same film. I mostly use standard PAL VCD/SVCD profiles from TMPGEnc.

BTW - I use a PCD (Photoshop picture) at the end of my films but that does not seem to be the problem. After the error the encoded film is on my harddisk and can be burned with Nero 5.5 on standard VCD/SVCD - but nur with WinOnCD - it says something like "Muxrate=0". Yamakawa 715 and Tevion 2001 plays them perfectly.

So, even if you cannot answer my problems: I want to give away the VCDs/SVCDs
Do I have to worry, that some standalone DVD players will have problems? Do standalone players start at the beginning of films and then running till the end or do some players check the files before playing them?

Ok - if nothing helps and the error maybe is at the Plugin - which freeware or cheap other frameserver plugin I can use to give Premiere projects directly to TMPGEnc?

Please help,
thanks in advance
