Problems

Alright i dont really have a SPECIFIC question but i am not quite understanding why ripping a dvd is not working for me. i burn it with nero and followed all the guides but when i try to put it in the main disc drive it says "windows can not read the disc, it may be corrupted, ot it may be using a file not compatible with windows" is that normal?
and i know it might not play in most dvd players but i tried three, none of them worked. also it seemed like it took very little time to burn it to a cd considering how big it was. does anyone know what im doing wrong? thanks,

have you followed sefy's guide? I can't imagine a more user-friendly guide...
