MMC TV Picture Scrambled, records OK -- help

OK. recently in XP the MMC 7.1 picture got scrambled. maybe 1 out of 10 times I run it, the picture is OK.

Recording is OK when display is scrambled.

I had to reinstall XP recently and installed MMC7.1 and blah, same frickin problem. Upgraded to 7.6 yesterday and same problem.

in iuvcr it usually previews ok, but sometimes can be scrambled as well.

I did upgrade video card to a GF3 Ti500 recently and that is the only thing I can think of that would make it do this with fresh install and fresh driver install.

hi i have the same problem on one of my xp pro machines. try this it works for me about 98% of the time..

hold control down when you start mmc.. hold control down also when you click record button. when i do this i dont get that scrambled screen. i used to have to change resolution every time to get the scramble to go away but that just got annoying.

thanks. I did check ati a while back, guess it wasnt there or I am blind, prob the latter.

the ctrl thing helps. mmc 7.6 beta didn't and no newer drivers for video card.
