    I am trying to split an mpeg accross two disks, have downloaded various software, and managed to split, however movie will then not play.

    I am new to this, and want a simple programme to start with.

    If anybody knows of anything it would be much appreciated and save me alot of searching and downloading time.

    Additon to my question, routed round on this site and followed advice of downloading TMPGEnc-2.57.

    Worked a treat, have now managed to trim 3 films and clean up the audio, it was easy enough for a novice like me to use.
