  1. Or any other DVD9s for that matter. I successfully split Lord of the Rings to 2 DVD+Rs because it was all one title set. I tried Ifoedit's guide but didnt work. Hope someone has this science down pat and can share the knowledge with me!!!

If your encoding the video to an mpeg and then splitting it you will sometimes get problems, as I used to get them with my VBR mpegs. I use TMPGEnc and I just encode the first half of the movie, then after that I encode the second half using the "Source Range" setting under "Advanced". This is the best way for me to do it, no problems.

  4. I am using the guides for IFOedit .092 and "trying" to use the guides for splitting to 2 DVDRs. I was curious if anyone has been successful spliting a movie like Episode 1 that has multiple title sets to 2 DVDRs. I guess I get confused in the guides where you have to add all the "extras" in to both DVD folders that you created when you split the movie

    DaveyD,

PM me with a list of all the file names (inc. which files hold the main movie), and I'll send you detailed instructions later tonight when I get home. Include an email address.
