I'm using Logoaway for the first time and I've put the border around the watermark I want to remove.

However when I click out of the filer's config box and select "Video/Copy output frame to clipboard" (as per the author's instructions) nothing ever saves to the clipboard!!!!???!.

I know it seems a silly thing but its got me stuck!

Is there a User guide on vcdhelp? as the author is not a native english speaker and this shows....

Don't know if this will help...but I 'll assume that you want to process an avi and cover up (remove...not show) some thing like a logo/ mark??

Last time I did this it was on a mpg and I had to use full processing mode for that...meaning that I had to set compression up for what ever type avi I wanted output in.

If you have added the filter goto filters then logoaway then configure....
On right side under advanced click visible border...then click show preview...you can leave preview open and you should see a doted outline where logo away operating area is.. you need to move it and size it to cover logo/mark. Do that by adjusting Logo border position... x,y (location) on mine top left corner is 0,0..it will move in preview window. Adjust area size by changing x,y under logo border size...If logo is in a letter box type black border then select solid fill....otherwise UGLARM works anywhere by bluring area with surrounding pixels. ..DONT forget to uncheck visable border..before you finish and click on OK.

To run just click on save avi and enter a diferent name for new avi....if you have source(input) and output windows open...then you will see the changes in the two videos as it runs through...

You need to open an image editor (MS paint will do) before you can view (CTL-V) the frame you saved to the clipboard.
