Hi there,
Well I am gettting all my VHS vacations onto SVCD. I have been capturing DV to AVI.
My question comes to TMPEG.
What kind of settings would you recommend for making SVCDs of VHS. I would assume that taking the DV/AVI file striaight to SVCD with the standard bitrate may be a little more than is necessary.
I know that it does depend on the contents of the VHS content. Like I said they are all vacation (GIRLS GONE WILD) type stuff. So there is a bit of shakey camera work.
I have been getting about 35 minutes on ONE SVCD when using the STANDARD NTCS SVCD setting.
Any suggestions?
Thanks
