If I want to rip a dvd movie into 2 SVCD Cds, what Video Bitrate should I use? I know it depends on how long the movie is but what should I use if I dont what the quality to be so darn bad?
I mean, I really want my eyes to see that it is SVCD![]()

try this link, it will give you a VERY nice time/bitrate conversion tool that I use to make SVCDs that fit exactly on 2 CDs with best possible quality using 2 pass VBR in TMPG. The only thing is when cutting into two files with TMPG I find it adds more information, so I use another method found below to cut into 2 files, using BBMPEG

Some work to set it all up the first time, but well worth it once you get into the groove of it. Enjoy!
