Proline dvd 2000

Hiya guys..!

Ok then i am having trouble playing vcd's on my Proline dvd2000
i have used the hack on posted on this board to enable vcd's to play on this machine, but i cant get any too play..!
What am i doing wrong..?
i have tried 3 types of media unbranded cd-r's phillips cd-r's and Maxell cd-r's i admit these are not the best media in the world but....! these are all i have.!
i have used nero to burn the vcd's and i have also tried nti cd maker but to no avail..!
i will give you my system spec incase you think it may be relevent..!;

1.6 athlon XP
256mb ram
memorex twelveMAXX cd-rw

any help would be nice..! :) lol

im sorry anexial but i have the same problem with my proline dvd 2000
face facts my friend the proline dvd 2000 just wont play vcd's that u have made your self, if u can get 'proper' printed vcd's (eg from an internet site that are legit) then they play but not cd-r, or cd-rw. you will just have to buy another one. the new alba dvd 108 plays all region dvd's AND all vcd's (pirate, legit, and homemade!) they go for around £69.99 (not sure in dollars) if u do deside to get one then keep checking back to this site for my hack on how to get it region free and play ALL vcd's.
