My downloads aren't connectin well in grokster?

when i download s song or something it will often come up with remotely or more sources for download and when i click resume it will say connecting but will soon return to reomtely or more sources for download how cna i fix this?

*sigh* I see LOTS of posts in your history dealing with this.

If you get "remotely queued", that means all the available "slots" on that particular user are full. You have to wait for a slot to open up. Be warned, it may take DAYS for a slot to open. If you get "more sources needed", that particular user has either disconnected, stopped sharing the file you want or deleted the file you want from their computer.

More often than not, you will end up with a "more sources..." message after waiting a great while on a "remotely queued" message without ever beginning the download. Just the way it goes, ya know? Do you know what peer to peer means? How old are you? Why is this question under Newbie Conversion?

I wouldn't have answered... I'm just THAT bored.

However, first of all... get rid of Grokster then after you have un-installed it, run Ad-awear to remove any spies it has put on your system. Then download and install Kazaa lite, its the same as Grokster but is much better, it even comes with "Speed-up" which will automatically look for more sources.

Before you start, you can use Grokster to find those two programs

no way grokster is everything kazaa lite is and more. i use to have kazaa lite but it sucks so i got grokster

KJ is correct...Grokster,Kazaa and KazaaLite are exactly the same (except Lite of course has no SW).....
Something I've learned from using the likes of Kazaa ,Morpheus,Imesh,Bearshare,Gnotella,WinMx and the old Napster over the last 3 years is that you have to be patient.
I have over 200 movies and 1000 mp3's and it does not happen overnight.Some 700mb Divx movies have taken me over a month of on again off again resuming.
