Hi i have just started ripping my entire DVD collection into DIVX and just wondered what your rules were for the lowest settings.
I was thinking i would not go over 2 Hours On a single CD that gives me about 875 Biltrate with 64kbps Audio, do you think this will give good enough results? will 64kbps audio be ok? or should i use 96kbps audio and sacrifice video quality (about 830 biltrate)
anything over a 2 hour film i am gona put on 2 CDs

maybe for a SVCD but definately not for DIVX, i just finished encoding shrek (1 Hr 35Min Film) the biltrate was 1100 for 800MB file and the quality is superb, best i have seen actually
i just windering about what people think i can go down to for a 2 hour film
anyone else got any comments to my orignal question?MAC
