I am upgrading from my 8x4x32 cd burner, and I would like recommendations for new fast Cd writers. Looking for quality and reliability, not neccesarily the fastest. Please tell me brand and model you would recommend. All input is appreciated.
Thank you

I'd recommend a plextor writer. they always win the important awards and are the best overall in performance tests. you can't go wrong with them. tdk makes pretty good burners as well. i've owned one and read test reports on them as well. they're cheaper than the plextors and i think a little cheaper made. hope this helps some. cdrinfo.com has some performance info worth checking out too.
