Hi,

Is there a program that allows you to rip/encode/author....or at least the
first two so you can leave it overnight with out worrying about
having to use multiple programs..?!

There is indeed. DVD2SVCD. Find the link in the tools section of
this website (left hand side, nearer the bottom)

I tried this but got an error when i clicked on the cd icon -
'Cinema Craft Encoder not found' or something like that...

Where do i get a copy of this from? i see its about a grand!

You can use TMPEng instead. Download it from the Tools section. In DVD2SVCD I think the setting you need is in the Encoder tab. Just select TMPEng instead of CCE. You will then browse to the location of TMPEng.
