  1. I have an avi file which i want to turn into vcd Every time i try to use the converter avi2vcd it tells me it cant do it because the audio is compressed.Can anyone tell me how to decompress the audio in the avi file as i am clueless.

  2. try opening the avi with virtualdub and then goto "File"
    then "Save Wav".

  3. Hi,

    First use VirtualDub to extract the wav from the avi (load movie, then save as wav).
    For encoding try to use TEMPGenc. Use the avi as video source and the extracted wav as audio source.

    That should do it.
