k, let say if a dvd is protected, how would you know, and is there a way to by pass it?,

A dvd like titanic hold's 7.8gb and if i wanted to backup my copy how would i do that, since avg. dvd only hold 4.34gb?

okey, i notices most avg or should i say standed dvd's that are mostly dvd-5 in alot of movies. i've seen some dvd-5 that are 5-6gb how can that be??. since dvd-9 are usally dual layers (also how would i back my dual layer dvd's?). and i've seen and also got a few hybrid layer dvd films, is ther a way to back them up?

well if any of the above could be answer, i'll really thank ya for your time

  2. Have you read the "how to dvd rip" section (link on the left)? Lots of the info you ask is there.
As Churchill famously predicted when Chamberlain returned from Munich proclaiming peace in his time: "You were given the choice between war and dishonor. You chose dishonor, and you will have war."
