Afternoon all.
I've ben trying to D/L the lastest version 2.64 from CinemaCrafter's
download website, but those Fkers, after MAKING me sign in - a.k.a
register w/ them, and then sending my my password, and then logging
in w/ it, and proceed to hopelessly D/L the Trial version, is telling me
that: "No Downloads Available" - What the FUK!! ...bunch of teasing
Pussy'eez!!
In any case, R then just teasing, and trying to grab as many registeries
as possible for their numbers, or R then just plain FKRs, or just plain
AZZ-Wholes ? ?
Has anyone ben able to D/L thier latest 2.64 version that they ARE offering
on their website for D/L?? or do you have an alternate web link so that
I can at least TRY it out, he, he...
Thank you.

Well, I'm going to do some Google Searching and see if I can come up
with anything - ANYTHING!!
I'll let you know what I find on my way!! he, he...
..."What was that CRACK about CCE, he, he..."
Later! -
You should be able to get it from Cinema Crafts site.
I got it there a few weeks ago.
Maybe it's just down at the moment. -
Afternoon all.
Back up an running again. System crashed a few more times and I lost
my connection on THIS pc. Anyways. . .
scobo,
No, the message specifically says "No Download Available"
I can't ducplicate the message, as you have to first register, and then
use your password, and THEN proceed to download, but instead, the
webPAGE state the above message.
I've tried many Google searched, and yes, I came up with plenty of those
cracks. Ben very trying for me, in not eating my own words and all, about
how I feel about cracks and stuff, but come on. This is just plain TOO
nerve-racking when these people play these "inticing" games with you.
"No wonder why" people go the CRACK route. Just another reason why.
Ok, in actually VISITING those crk sites, I found a few that actually
display your harddrive files. That, I didn't like. Can't believe the lengths
that people go through just to play w/ your mind, or actaully log the files
that VISITORs have on their harddrive when they stop in for a VISIT.
I was pretty shocked to see my files displayed at these websites. And,
I was able to lauch a few of my own files their by clicing on them. Pretty
dam sneaky ah? Well, no harm done. Just pop back in my CD image
and i'm back up and running again here. My system had crashed when I
visited one of these places.
And, before anyone asks. NO. I did not D/L any cracked versions.
Anyways,
Spooki, I just finished D/L'ing that file you directed me to (website above)
I had to do a search for "CCE" and got the final link for it. I was looking
for the trial version, as I don't care much if the logo shows or not.
Anyhows, I'm going to give 2.641 a shot and see how it goes.
Oh, and thank you for the link.
If I like it, i'll share my thoughts/experiences. I do have CCE 2.50
working fine, except that when you use the VFAPI.EXE app to convert a
*.d2v file, and then bring into cce 2.50, I produces faily poor quality. And
I couldn't figure out why. But, my captured AVI files encoded greate!!
Later all.

i've been using CCE SP (don't know how different this is to the lite version) for quite a while and the quality is superb, i always do a two pass VBR re-encode which takes 5-6 hours but ends with superb quality, still much better than the 11 or 12 hours with Tmpgenc. if you need anymore help then just PM me
It takes a little while to get used to the features of CCE but it's worth it for the speed alone. -
spooki, and others.,
What the hell did I D/L here??
This CCE is CRAP at its best. It's the lite version. The link said that
it was the SP version, and even the documents say 2.64 SP but, it's the
lite version. It totally sucks in quality. How can anyone test something
like this out. I can't even do more than one pass, and it's only in CBR.
I'm trashing this version. The version I use is the 2.50 and it has the
multi pass VBR features.
What I'm looking for again, is the SP versoin of 2.64 or later.
Do you know of any links to the CCE SP v2.64 trial version out their, other
than CCE's website that doesn't even have it for D/L though it makes you
go through the motions w/out any D/L? ? ?
Thanks for any help you all can give.
-vhelp -
ok, correction, the *.pdf (manual) says Lite as well as the History.txt file,
as well as the website also says Lite.
So, I was wrong there. I don't know why I saw SP somewhere's.
Anyways, still looking for the 2.64 SP version.
Later. -
ok, I just found two different links for the Trial version (I think it says
SP Trial) anyways, but it's D/L'ing at 0.2k, and the other keeps
timing out.
.
.
what a pain. -
pfeew!
Finally got it from CinemaCrafter's website. They have released it to me.
I guess they had to do some preliminary stuff w/ my account and all.
what ever that is. Anyways, I'm D/L'ing it now. She'sss, I only want to
try it out w/out restricitons. Don't mind the logo thing. Well, anyways,
I'm happy to say that I'm going to try it out.
Sorry for not responding to yours. I don't like handing out my e-mail
address, and I wasn't sure if you or anyone else for that matter was
going to send me a cracked version or something. I could of gotten it
off the web all day today. Anyways. That's for all who tried to help.
Good evening.

Oh, I just love this. I finished doing some CCE sample encodes w/
version SP 2.50 this morning/afternoon, and after installing this latest
version SP 2.64, and using my same *.avs clip, it bailed out w/ a message
"NewMovieFromFile() failed (0)"
What the F, I'm burning up over here, he, he....
Anyways, let me continue fighting this out w/ CCE SP 2.64
Looks like I got my work cut out for me. . .
Later guys.
-vhelp -
ok, looks like I forgot again, my error. CCE 2.64 doesn't support the
*.avi and/or *.VDR / *.D2V files. I'll try the VFAPI.EXE route and see
if this helps.
Be right back. . .
nnnnop! Doesn't work. She'sh, sure would love to figure this one out.
CCE SP 2.64 wont take the following files:
*.vdr - vdub frameserver
*.avs -
*.d2v - dvd2avi
Nor will VFAPI take any of my vdub's *.vdr files dragged into it.
So, i can't convert to a seudo *.avi file - that's just great. How are any
of you guys doing it.
My sources are:
* captured AVI files (huffy)
* DVD2AVI's *.d2v
Thanks for any help.

I use it as a plugin with Adobe Premiere 5.1 to encode AVI's from miniDV.
It's much faster than TMPGEnc, about twice real time on my setup as opposed to 8 or 9 with TMPGEnc, and I don't see much between them in terms of quality. -
afternoon,
scobo,
I stopped futzing around lastnight. I gave up on it cause they stupidily took
out the ability to frameserve between apps. I don't why they made this decision
to do this, probably to work on comformity to the big guys, as TMPGenc has.
I've noticed that TMPGenc has gone this route, given their latest version v2.57's strict use of $MS$ MPEG handshaking or whatever, hence the comformity of the
VFAPI MPEG-2 via $MS$ bla, bla, bla. So, basically, TMPGenc solf us out. Well,
All I can say is, that after TMPG v2.53, all else is $MS$ azzkissing. So, stick
to v2.53 or later versions and you'll be fine.
I read that CCE v2.66 or something brought this frameserving feature back w/ some
additions. Hell, they better, at $1995!! They sure's hell better!
Yes, I agree w/ you. So far, based on my past experience with CCE v2.50, the
quality difference is almost indistingquishable (spelling) - one day, it was CCE,
and the next, it was back to TMPG. They both produce the same quality (IMO)
The ONLY advantage that CCE has is the speed. BUT, that is only when you compare
it to TMPG's 2pass against CCE's 2pass. Wheather it's 3 or 4 or more, and still
beats TMPG, well, that's not something to argue about, and who cares. But, in my
experience with CCE, and using 3.1 pass (".1" for the *.vaf making it 4) is that
it's not all THAT faster as people have claimed it to be. I"m talking about using
it w/out any filters between both. I can't justify the $$$ just for the speed
alone, as it's SOO NOT worth it for the 1 minute or 3 minute speed increase. So,
please! LOL. Anyways. . .
As for CCE v2.64, I AM able to use it w/out ANY problems, as long as it's a
straight AVI file, and NO frameserving. Any such frameserving of ANY kind, and
CCE v2.64 will through a crash out and just shut down all-together. I've tried
various kinds of frameserving with v2.64
It wasn't all that complete - really! I just used the same frameserving methods
I used for CCE v2.50, but w/out ANY success. (w/ and w/out audio)
I'm not sure who said that CCE wasn't good at lower bitrate, but IMO, I think
they weren't fair to that assumption. I've used 1.8k bitrate and lower, and some
of my clips looked just as good as TMPG's. So, I'm at a loss why anyone would
state that. But, anyway.
I'm going to stay with CCE v2.50 for my continued testing.
Well, let me continue with my "filter chain" revision for VHS. I'm trying to
improve on it some more.
later.

Vhelp, I don't have much experience with Vdub but don't you just need the latest version of Avisynth ?
I tried the latest video server for Adobe Premiere and it works fine with CCE 2.64 and TMPGEnc although I use the CCE plugin as it's less hassle.
Quote from www.videotools.net/uk/index.php ........
"-Enables frameserving from Virtualdub to any program that reads AVIfiles.
-Enables to read MPEG/DVD with random access in any program that reads AVI files.
The tool is tested width CCE SP 2.64/2.62, Premiere, Ulead Media Studio Ligos MPEG suite, Windows Media Encoder v8, Cleaner 5." -
scobo,
to be quite honest w/ you, I don't even know how to tell which version I
have and HOW I even installed it, and from WHICH app *.exe I used to
instaled AVIsynth!! so, to even begin w/ whatever version, is kind of
pointless to me. I remember having trememdous trouble getting it to
work w/ my 2nd pc. And, I DON'T even remember HOW I installed it on
THAT pc either, LOL. Now you wan me to install the latest?? All's I know
is, it's working fine on my BOTH my pcs at the moment, but if you ask
me to install the latest, and then I have trouble with it, and then should
I have to return to a prev. install, I may not have it working again, hence
more head-ackes!! which I don't want, especially after screwing around
with CCE v2.64 all week end to no avail. I have plenty of other things
going on right now on BOTH my pcs. I'm a bit taxed at the moment, so
you can sense my frustration. My latest evndeavors (today) was with
trying out vcdNOTsoeasy, he, he... You may have read in a diff.
thread elswhere. I've ben having some trouble with it working on my
current pc setup, and to now find out that it most probable reason for NOT
working is due to the CDRADO thin-ga-ma-gig, and not to mention that
YOU DO have to be a rocket scientist to operate it. It's really NOT so
easy, as it claims. Anyways, so you can see I'm pretty taxed at the
moment.
...also, am reading the website's http://www.vcdimager.org/guides/chapters.html as we speak.
Thanks for your input though.
