I tried to encode a full movie using tmpge and after it encoded it was still too large to put on one cd and I was curios as to what I did wrong or I missed a step. I followed the steps on the guide on how to do it and the target I was shooting for was met but when I went to burn (using nero 5) it told me the file was too large. Please help I am using a lot of cds. I am willing to buy a software program if this one soesn't work

You don't say how long the movie is ? If your trying to put a 160 Minuet movie onto a 80 minuet disk, then yes they wont fit

80 minutes VCD should just about fit on an 80 minute CD. If not, and your writer supports it, try the Nero overburn feature. You must be pretty close as it is, so if you can't use overburn then I would suggest recoding, using the VCD template, and then loading the *unlock* template. Under System, select MPEG-1 Video-CD (non-standard). Under audio, drop the bitrate to 160. This should bring your 80 minute movie into line. There are various other things you can do, but in this case, adjusting the audio should be enough.
