I want to know when converting to dvd whats the best settings in tmpgenc that will have the best picture effects?????? is it 2-pass or cq ???? i would like to know everyones experince.

well ive always used cbr with a high bitrate for vcds (1600kbps non standard vcd). the quality is very good on regular tv (sucks on hdtv).
i dont like cq, it always seems to give me problems. and ive tried 2 pass but wasnt too happy.
but thats just me. -
This question will be likely asked forever - like the 1000x times in the past.
No matter what people answer the right answer is
there are no best settings because it always depends on your source material.
Interlaced dv needs other settings than progressive dvd than interlaced dvd than interlaced capture material than animes than ...
