Hi I just applied the region code hack that was posted here http://www.vcdhelp.com/dvdplayershack.php?select=LG%205083
The hack apparantly works on all 5000 series of LG. I used a RW disk np at all.

Question

Can anyone tell me how to get info on PROM editing of the LG 5084. What is it for, Should I do some Will it make a diffence. Or in brief: What is it anyway?
I can get into the PROM menu by the sequense: pause, 1 ,4 ,7, 2
