Hiya
I have a problem when trying to make vcds out of dvds.
Problem: After ripping the dvd I'm supposed to use dvd2avi to make a file that combines all of the vob files. When doing this according to the instructions this is what happens.
I get all the correct files, but the "movie" file is only very, very small. and when I try to load it with TMPGenc it won't load(altho I do have the proper plugin thingy).
- It takes only around 4 minutes to do the dvd2avi conversion, odd?
Anyone have an idea?

What you are describing about the file size and time to prepare the project sounds right. The conversion in dvd2avi is not a full conversion, rather the file "points" to the vob's.
As far as why it won't load into TMPGEnc, you got me as it should no problem. -
In TMPGEnc goto
Options > Environmental Settings > VFAPI plug-in
Look for "DVD2AVI Project File Reader 1.76"
Right Click anc click Higher Priority
Remember the original priority number (should be 0)
Increment it once and try to open the DVD2AVI project file
and if it opens, then your set, if not try another increment
in priority, if you get to the top of the priority list and TMPGEnc
still won't open the DVD2AVI project file then......
Try a more recent version of TMPGEnc, if that doesn't work
then you've got me stumped, post again here and see if
anybody else can add anything to this thread.
