ffmpegX to SVCD or XVCD instructions

Can Major or someone else post line by line instructions for taking your VOB files from a VOB to a VCD, XVCD or SVCD ? There are a lot of steps that seem to be scattered everywhere and it is confusing.

It would be great to see instructions (Detailed) starting from OSeX --> ffMpegX --> XVCD

Sort of a newbies guide to creating SVCD or XVCD on the MAC.

I think that this would solve a lot of questions that people ask in the group.
