U need to get your access card reprogrammed, somehow. That's how they had to do it before. There are allegedly those who could do this to the new cards, but I don't know who it would be.

what kinda card do you have? is it the older H card, or the newer HU card?? I have all the details on this subject; email me if you wanna know

You are in the wrong forum, however, just do a search for those cards on ebay and you will find plenty of stuff.

That's the second time someone has said that it's the wrong forum. This IS after all, the off-topic forum. This is off topic.

Is it just me or is "zzyzzx" obsessed with porn. In this post he says it and in others he always says it like in mine about internet history

@ zzyzzx
if you want some porn you can get it right here by watching these chumps stick their noses up the mods ass when someone asks a barely legal question in the off topic forum.
phuckin whine bags!!!!!!!!!!! -
well there is other tv programing on direct tv like football
the movie channels and porn. its the wrong forum but maybe he wants to descramble his direct tv for legit reasons like wanting to be able to capture directly from the sat feeds.
I just got a phillips 5350 unit and am having trouble myself finding what kind of emulator card I need. but check the dss newsgoups for posts about what type of card you need and it matters what kind of reccciver unit you have -
The sad thing about cracking a DSS is that it usually costs less to get the channels leagally, if you are just trying to watch them, then it is to get a modified h/hu... card.
BTW zzyzzx, you get better porn from dishnetwork then you do direct tv, if you are into that sort of thing. -

i didn't mean you i meant the people whining about whether or not it was the right forum. -
Ummmmm....no it's not sad to hack DTV, and actually I paid $50 for my receiver back in late 94. So $50 for the receiver, and $100 for the other equipment needed to emu.
I think that's a pretty damn good deal myself, considering DTV charges about $90 US dollars/month for their "platinum" package.
vanillabox, I suggest you do some more research before you slam something you obviously know very little about
