I just cant get analogue to DV. I'm using a G4 PB with a dazzle hollywood dv-bridge and it works fine with my DVD player and my camcorda. I have no s-video or composite video out ports on my VCR so I use a scart with an in/out switch. I cant see that this should make a difference but it doesn't work. I've tried with 3 scarts and 3 videos but no joy. Yes I'm struggling and it shouldn't be a hard thing to do so I cant understand what the problem is.
I needed to get cassette tape onto cd too but I couldn't do that either. Any advice anyone? I looked for a VCR with s-video or composite out ports but I haven't found one yet(in the UK) and this DV-bridge surely should work.
later.

It was the scart adapter. It's trial and error as to which will work with the bridge.
