I was wondering if anyone could tell me the best way to backup my DVDs. I have a DVD burner and I have read the tutorials on this site. I am wondering which method is the best preferably with free software. Any help would be appreciated.

You need to "Rip" the DVD to your hard drive, quite a lot of free DVD ripping software out there, smartripper being one of them.
