    How do i convert a rm to mpeg without usesng Eo video cos that program is shit

    you should try my method that I came up with probably about 2 years ago, before there was a program designed to convert rm to mpeg and when everyone was calling it impossible to do cuz there was no program out to do it. Well that didn't stop me(to make a long complex tutorial on how I did it short I'll just say the following) I downloaded Camtasia and recorded what was on my computer screen as AVI then converted AVI to mpeg.

    i always used tinra (available in the tools section) to convert from rm to avi (any codecs) and then use tmpgenc to convert to mpeg.
    i've noticed that when using tinra, the avi output seems to be out of sync (video and voice) when i do multitasking. so, i suggest to leave the pc to finish the conversion.

    ok thanks how long does tinra take to convert the files as eo video took 2 hours to do a 30min file which i think is taking the piss ,cos i can rip and burn a full dvd movie to vcd in 3hours
