    Yes,it's called miniDVD. But the only standalone that reliiably play it are from Sampo. But they will play in any compurt DVD or Cd-ROM drive.

    and you can only get 15 minutes of video on a disc.

    try using SVCD, it's near-DVD quality and you can get up to 40 minutes on a CDR..
