  1. I have a question I have an Mpeg2 file that I want to burn as a DVD. Is there a program (nero? DVDit? ...etc) that I can import the Mpeg2 into so that it will make the appropriate changes? Like taking the Mpeg2 and making VOBs and IFOs?

    Thanks

  2. You'll need to make sure your MPEG2 file is encoded to the DVD specifications, or authoring programs will give you error messages. Personally, i use TMPGEnc to encode all of my files to DVD-compliant MPEG2 files. But that's just a suggestion.

I use TMPGEnc to encode the files and it makes a MPEG2 file but what do I do after I have the Mpeg2? If I wanna burn that to DVD-R to play in a home player. How can I get the VOBs and IFOs?

    Thanks man!!

  4. You need to author the MPEG's. Did an authoring app come with your DVD burner? It should have if the drive is not OEM.
