Ulead dvd workshop 1.2 patch problem

i just dl'ed and tried to instal the 1.2 patch for ulead dvd workshop 1.0 it keeps saying it can not find "ulead dvd workshop 1.0" when i try to instal it. Does this make any sense, can any offer some info thanks--

Well, I have tried calling Ulead (long-distance to California from Canada) several times but I haven't been able to speak to a support guy. I also tried emailing with no response from Ulead... I'll keep trying...

Ok, I finally got a response from Ulead. Evidently the patch won't work with the Trial Version 1.0, which I have, so I can't be of more assistance... I don't feel like buying the software.
