after converting .rm, .avi -> .mpg = no video, but sound

I've searched for a solution to this problem in the forum pages after pages but I haven't found any, so I'm hoping somebody could help me with this.

Okay, I have some .rm files so I tried converting them to .avi with TINRA, except the sound and the video were always out of sync so I switched to EO video. Using EO video, I converted some files to .avi, but when I tried to convert them to .mpg in TMPGEnc, there is no picture, but the sound is there. However, there are a few files that were converted through the same process but are able to convert to .mpg. I don't know why that happens, so if anybody could help me, I'd be forever grateful!

I've had the same problem - I used the EO program - got audio, no video -went back and tried the one with the Tinra and the same thing happened - I've also tried doing the audio as a seperate wav file - with the same results. I checked in the help, but nothing addressed my problem (unless I overlooked it)

As I am still a newbie at this I am at a loss as how to proceed.

Here's hoping someone else has a solution as I would be really thrilled to get my rm files converted to avi.
