All the VCD's ive created recently have had sync problems on my external player (play fine on my pc)... I've used Sefy's guides and the only thing i can think causing the problem is using DVD2AVI under the audio tab by default the 48 => 44.1k conversion is off. As vcd standard for audio is 44.1 would this cause problems ?? I have tried using the low and high settings on this option and it creates a 44.1 384 wav file, how do i just create a 44.1 224 for better compatability?
Thanks.

What do you use after you create the D2V file - TMPGEnc ?
If so, then I would leave the audio at 48K from within DVD2AVI and let an external freq converter (such as ssrc) do the conversion from within TMPGenc. (change unter the tools section) - download ssrc from doom9.net (PS - don't use TMPGenc's own converter - its not great..)
To date, I've never had a sync problem with this method ... Worth a try.
