I have my weddding DVD that contains the Audio track as mpeg. When I ripp it (SmartRipper) and then put it through DVD2AVI it save the audio file as .mpa and attaches a delay to its name. So the two files I get are:
DVD2AviTest1.d2v (Video File)
DVD2AviTest1 MPA T01 DELAY -353ms.mpa
Now, when I encode it as either VCD or SVCD using TMPGEnc, the video is ahead of the Audio (the mouth moves and then you hear the words).
Why is that? I have another copy of the same DVD, but this one has its audio track as AC3. I follow the same exact process as above and everything comes out fine. The only difference is that DVD2AVI produces the audio track as .wav
Why the discrapancies? TIA
