    didnt really know what forum this question would best go under... but anyway...

    is there anyway to delete content off of a miniDV tape... not just write over it but to actually delete or format the tape? the only way to use the "blank search" feature on my camera is if it is actually blank.

    and as a side question... about how many times can you rewrite a miniDV tape before you need a new one?
