Hey!
I'm currently re-building my system, and am looking for a good Socket A mainboard (One that offers easy overclocking would be nice!) I though an Asus board would be out of my price range, but the A7V-E board is only $160 Canadian at a local dealer versus $145 for an ECS board that has no overclock support. Considering this board's features, it seems way underpriced... What gives? I can't find any reviews on this board on the Net, only reviews on the various other A7V models... Anyone got one? I'd love to hear about it...

Don't cheap out on the mobo. The A7V is usually about $10-20 more. Just get the normal A7V and buy a (slightly) slower CPU. Won't matter 'cause you can o/c it anyways!
And no, I don't know anything about the A7V-E. -
i have an asus a7v133, and it's a great board. but it's based on the KT133A chipset instead of the older, buggy KT133 that the original a7 series used. the a7v-E says "enhanced" KT133, and i'm not sure what the enhancements are, but i'm not sure i'd want them. i don't do any overclocking on mine, but the board is rock solid. no glitches with my ATI cards, lockups, or anything. the KT133A chipset also supports the 266 FSB, where the a7v-E apparently doesn't. also, try to get the onboard ATA100/RAID controller but NOT the onboard sound.
