I'm doing some capture from VHS to VCD, and wondering what are some good numbers to set the noise reduction and sharpen filters in TMPEnc? Thanks!

Just about every capture you do might require different settings based on the source video. One thing you can do is run it through VirtualDub with it's various filters (smart smoother's a good one) because that way you get an instant picture of before and after filtering. Encode the final Avi in TMPGenc with no further processing (or frameserve).
