Americal 2x DVD-R NOT 2x?

Has anybody got these to work at 2x? Americal (same company as DVDR4LESS) is selling these 25 per spindle for $2.89 a piece. Well this is the scond spindle I got and I still cannot get these to burn at 2x. The first time back in May I called back and they said they will have them next week, so i ordered these fully expecting them to be 2x but they are not!

I am using a A04 and have burned using 3 different programs (including Prassi) and they all turn out to take 50 + minutes(1x) ,I used DVDInfo to check the mfg. and they are "RITEKG03" , don't think its me because I can get the 2x generic media from meritline(TDKG) to burn at 2x. So before I write them a nasty letter I want to make sure its not just me,thanks!

The Media Identify tool indicates "Ritek" as the mfg. Ritek is not an approved media Vendor by the Forum and is not on Pioneer's List to write at 2X. I have some of this americal media and it is also Ritek. I think that is all they sell unless you want to pony up some more money for the Pioneer or TDK media they sell.
