    Hi,

I have a Pioneer DV-444S, and it's fantastic, i love it. Only problem is i now wish i had bought it with the multi-region mod done but at the time i didn't realise...

Can anyone help me convert this to multi-region? The only place i have found is Techtronics, and they are asking £85 (not inc. V.a.t !) to collect and return the player and carry out a complete region free conversion.

This isn't TOO bad a deal i know, but i was hoping for something cheaper. I would prefer a D.I.Y kmod if there is one, as soldering, etc is no problem...

If anyone has any info at all on this subject it would be much appreciated!

(Fingers crossed someone has found a sneaky remote hack..! lol)

    Thanks,

    Try www.dvdchips.co.uk

Steve also sells the chips by themselves - you don't have to get them to do the upgrade for you. There are also diagrams there to show you how simple or complicated a mod is.

    Hope this helps
