  1. I have a divx movie (cartoon) that is about 89 minutes and 16 seconds long. I want to put this movie on 1 CDR that is 700mb and 80minutes. . Im going to make a XVCD and burn it using Nero. Im going to use TMPGEnc 2.02.31.119 to convert to make the mpeg1 (xvcd). This is want im planning to do to make it fit on the 1 cdr: Using the Bitrate calculator from this site i calculated avg bitrate to 1052 and im going to use audio bitrate to 160kbits. Then im just gonna burn it with Nero. Now my question is should i make the audio bitrate smaller to get a higher Constant Bit Rate or should I leave the audio at 160?.. Will this work? Or should i just use Sefy's Sxvcd to encode...Any advice would really be appreciated.

  2. Use Sefys template, but for compatability check out his xevcd (I think??)
    templates (using mpeg-1).

I just about started out with his templates before graduating into making
my own GOP settings and then later moving to CCE, and they are fantastic for newbie's. Good quality for 80-90 min standard video
    on one VCD.

  3. Hey there
Use the SxVCD Template (MPEG2 based) if your DVD Player supports SVCD, or use the SeVCD Template (MPEG1 based) if you can't play the SxVCD.

I Recommand you use a CDRW media to do the testing!

  4. Apparently, a few people have super-hearing, and super-audio systems, but if you don't, don't worry. 80-90% of your sensory input is through your eyes. I recommend dropping the audio bitrate to 128 kbps and upping the video bitrate.
