  1. Hi all

I found some of the threads on this messageboard describing how to capture larger than 352x240 (ie. 480x480) using the ATI TV Wonder and MMC 7.5 / 7.6 I would really like to capture some of my own home videos to computer at 480x480 resolution.

I followed the instructions, and I also tried other ways to install the MMC 7.5 and 7.6. Each time, the install seemed to be successful, but if I try to load the MMC I just installed, nothing happens. No "hourglass", nothing. The path to the .exe file seems to be correct. I'm running Windows 2000, 900 Mhz and 384MB ram.

I can only get my TV Wonder to work properly with MMC 7.1. Capturing AVI (320x240) and MPEG (320x240, 352x240) works great.

Anyone experience something similar? What exact method did you use to get MMC 7.5 and 7.6 to install and work? Any help appreciated. Thanks.

It works with RAGE also. I have the ATI all in wonder 128 Pro (rage based) and was running 7.1

After checking some site sthat specialize in this, it is perfectly okay to switch to 7.6

Make sure you COMPLETELY uninstall MMC 7.1 first under add remove programs. If it asked about saved settings , get rid of those too. Reboot.

    Install 7.6...reboot.

You should be set.Let me know.
